About the CDI Solutions Center

Integrated Revenue Management offers the hospital a Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) program, specifically tailored to the level of need of the individual healthcare facility. The program is adapted to the facility's strengths and opportunities and can optimize hospital-specific staffing resources and medical staff organization and patterns of care. Leadership of the facility may choose to roll out the program in a focused service, such as Internal Medicine or General Surgery. Starting the program on a smaller scale is an option, as well; perhaps focusing on specific MS-DRGs. The program can be modeled to incorporate concurrent RAC management and can also be tailored to accommodate Core Measures Abstraction and The Joint Commission patient record documentation requirements. The program functions as a collaboration with outcomes management, case management, health information management, and clinicians and can generate significant return on investment both in terms of quality-of-care reporting and bottom-line revenue.
